By: Joaquin ( OK ) .- New York Yankees suffered their first defeat of the season, the fall in 9 innings against the Boston Red Sox, with a score of 9 runs for 7.
In an historic event, having been defeated for the first time the defending champion in the opening game of the season, Kevin Youkilis manufactured the winning run after a passed ball (passed ball), and three extra-base hit earlier.
The Yankees had started the match well, with Curtis Granderson homers and Jorge Posada in the second ininng, and in fact were up 7 x 5 at the close of the seventh, when Marco is Scoutaro reached base via a single, only to be towed with RBI and home run scoring Dustin Pedroia, which is tied it.
