the other day trying to burn some files to a DVD in Windows XP, (using the same operating system to do so) I was presented with the following little problem when trying to "drag" the files to the DVD drive to burn later .
Failed to copy file.
File System Error 16389
After a little Internet searching, conclucion reach the simple, make it appear that Windows XP does not natively support burning DVD's, featuring the happy time error message.
first came to think that had a problem with the reader or something similar, but after installing a free program to burn dvd's, I do the copy without any problem.
So you know, if I try to burn a DVD I receive the 16389 error message, try saving the file using a specialized program that incorporates not the Windows XP natively.
The one I use is called DeepBurner .
